Ian with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt (w. Lucia Micarelli).
A terrorist alert at UK airports meant that the band arrived without 12 cases of their clothes and equipment, so they performed in non-stage clothes (Lucia in "sleepware"). Ian played a borrowed Gibson guitar and a newly-bought student flute (€650 and a speeding ticket for the tour manager) and, lacking his wireless microphone, had to remain behind a static microphone stand.
Otherwise reported to be a good concert, outdoors on a relatively cold night (10°C). Setlist from James Duncan's cue sheet.
