There were 161 scheduled Jethro Tull concerts in 1972.
This page lists January-May, whilst June-December dates are here.

We're still unsure of several setlists - can you help?
Please also let us know if you can identify any of the 3 unidentified venues.

19/1/72Kongress Zentrum HalleHamburg, Germany
20/1/72HansahalleLübeck, Germany
21/1/72GrugahalleEssen, Germany
My God or A New Day Yesterday or Live Up
A version of this show, with the closing tracks from 27/1/72 (end of the main set, not the encore), is circulating as A Blues For God. The pre-existing boot of that name is entirely from 27/1/72.
My God (w. flute solo, incl. Soirée, By Kind Permission Of..., Bourée), Thick As A Brick, Aqualung, To Cry You A Song, A New Day Yesterday, Cross-Eyed Mary (w. drum solo), Tomorrow Was Today, Hymn 43, Nothing Is Easy, Wind up, Locomotive Breath/Hard-Headed English General, Wind-Up (reprise)
22/1/72FesthalleFrankfurt, Germany

Gentle Giant sources claim that the show was moved to Offenbach (near Frankfurt!), but three audience members who recall the concert clearly, two of whom still have the used ticket stub (not an unused ticket), prove otherwise.
23/1/72MeistersingerhalleNürnburg, Germany
24/1/72KonzerthausWien, Austria

My God (w. flute solo, incl. Bourée, By Kind Permission Of..., Soirée), Thick As A Brick, Aqualung, To Cry You A Song, A New Day Yesterday, Cross-Eyed Mary (w. drum solo), Tomorrow Was Today, Hymn 43, Nothing Is Easy, Wind up, Locomotive Breath/Hard-Headed English General, Wind-Up (reprise)
Italicised tracks unconfirmed.
25/1/72MeistersingerhalleNürnburg, Germany

Cancelled
26/1/72Frederich EberthalleLudwigshafen, Germany
27/1/72KuppelsaalHannover, Germany
Hang Over or A Blues For God.
An alternative version of the latter is really from the 21/1/72 show, with only the closing tracks (end of the main set, not the encore) taken from 27/1/72.
My God (w. flute solo, incl.
28/1/72OberrheinhalleOffenburg, Germany
29/1/72HallenstadionZürich, Switzerland
30/1/72FesthalleBern, Switzerland
31/1/72?Milano, Italy

Possibly a last-minute replacement for a scheduled concert at the Palazzo dello Sport in Torino, cancelled due to local regulations.
1/2/72PalasportRoma, Italy
 The Poor Man Gets Along
My God (w. flute solo, incl.
2/2/72Palazzo dello SportBologna, Italy

Two shows: 17:30 & 21:00.
The tour schedule puts these show in Napoli, but Gentle Giant sources claim that show was cancelled and this, listed in the Tull schedule for 3/2/72, was brought forward. Confirmation is provided by two different contemporary press sources.
3/2/72Palazzo dello SportTreviso, Italy

Very confused. The tour schedule claims this was the date of the Bologna concert. Local advertising originally stated the venue of the Treviso show (whatever the correct date!) as Bocciodromo Ovest, but that was changed in later adverts. Could this venue change be a side-effect of the overall rescheduling of the Italian tour?
4/2/72Palazzo dello SportVarese, Italy

My God (w. flute solo, incl. Bourée, By Kind Permission Of..., Soirée), Thick As A Brick, Aqualung, A New Day Yesterday, Cross-Eyed Mary, Nothing Is Easy
Incomplete?
5/2/72PalasportNovara, Italy

The original locally-advertised tour schedule lists a show at the Palazzo dello Ghiaccio, Bolzano on this date. However, a corrected version, published a week later listed Novara instead.
Other sources claim that Tull were at the Palais des Sports in Lyon, France on this date, but two audience members and a recording prove otherwise, beyond serious doubt.
My God, Thick As A Brick, Aqualung, A New Day Yesterday, Cross-Eyed Mary, Nothing Is Easy, Wind up, Locomotive Breath
6/2/72PalasportNovara, Italy

The corrected locally-advertised tour schedule states that this was a second concert in Novara. However, other sources claim that Tull performed in Paris, France on this date.
There is a suggestion that the European tour ended in Novara on this date. Subsequent dates are listed in the tour schedule, but neither Tull nor Gentle Giant sources provide confirmation that they went ahead.
