Ian rented a house 'abroad' (Montreux, Switzerland?), to be alone whilst writing the material which became the 'Minstrel In The Gallery' album.

Tull had rented the Asheville Coliseum for the full week prior to this show, for rehearsal.

A crew member recalls the venue as 'Myriad'; though the Myriad Botanical Gardens, about a kilometre from the City State Fairgrounds, doesn't seem to have ever hosted concerts, it is next to large venues.

A power failure meant some instruments were inaudible during 'Queen And Country'. Ian stopped the show, then added an extra piece to the show, to make up for the interruption (an extended guitar instrumental during 'Back-Door Angels').

Back for a second show, possibly due to the problems two days earlier. The crew apparently weren't pleased.

This concert was thought to have been on 6 March, with Tull at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on 8 March. However, a ticket stub is available for the Providence show, on 8 March, and the Philadelphia 3-8-1975 recording is identical to that known to have been made in Providence, available as Another Cup Of Tea Dear? or Live In Providence.

According to press reports, Ian suffered a severe ankle injury and had to be carried off stage. His ankle in plaster, he was confined to a wheelchair, and 'at least five gigs' were cancelled (Ian later said one show was cancelled, but a crew member's notes prove otherwise). This event was also cited as the reason for a delay in releasing 'M.U.'.
