From left to right, the obvious landmarks are the Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park, St. Peter's cathedral, and the clock tower of the Town Hall.
The area of houses behind the cathedral is Moorlands (home of the Ministry!). The houses behind and to the right of the Town Hall is Primrose; the wooded area between Moorlands and Primrose is Scotch Quarry.
