Thirty turbines were sited ~7 km off Walney Island in 2006 to generate an anticipated 305 GWh pa.
From sea level, they're barely visible from Lancaster, but here at 280 m asl, I think they look great. I certainly wouldn't have been inspired to take a (grainy...) photo of an empty horizon.
