The ridge comprises the three named northern slopes of Grizedale Fell: Catshaw Fell on the left, Hayshaw Fell in the middle and Harrisend Fell at the right.
Note the metal tags linking the single top wire of the fence with the mesh below. I'm not entirely sure of their purpose, but they're very common in Bowland, and are the frequent object of my speculation whilst walking. One guess is that they damp noisy vibration of the top wire, which might disturb nesting grouse.
I didn't say it was a good guess.
