This cairn is visible from the Jubilee Tower car park, looking closer than the actual 2 km walk over rough, usually very boggy ground, so it's always a relief to finally reach the top.
And, since this feels like just the boring lead-in, to start the 'real' walk to Ward's Stone, though the cairn is actually ~40% of the way to the summit, with ~60% of the ascent.
