One of four towers ventilating the Mersey tunnels, this one at the Liverpool end of the Queensway tunnel is the most ornate, with art deco detailing and an overall shape reminiscent of an Egyptian temple.
It's scheduled to be the venue for a number of film & light shows later in Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture.
