The 'AD 1615' sign is nicely centred, but I suspect the workmen then stopped to investigate the pub's produce before returning to install the name sign wildly off-centre.

Speaking of signs, the sheer number of 'no entry/no parking/customers only/private property' notices all around the inn gave a rather hostile first impression – just my opinion, of course, but I'm certainly less likely to visit.
