The tree is at the edge of Tunnel Plantation, and also marks the downstream limit of my old PhD research catchment.
Somehow it's not as obvious in the image as in situ, but the head of the turbine seemed to point slightly upwards, rather than the axis of rotation being truly horizontal. It may have been an optical illusion.
