Wrynose Breast is on the immediate right, rising to Cold Pike, whilst Wet Side Edge is on the left, becoming Cockley Beck Fell further away. Despite that name, the beck visible beside the road and which turns south after Cockley Beck Bridge (just out of view) is actually the River Duddon.
The hill on the right in the background is Hard Knott; the even steeper road of the Hardknott Pass is just to the left of the thin line of trees. The peak on the left, beyond the larger plantation, is Harter Fell, at 649 m asl.
