The house in the foreground, seemingly alone in Newfield Wood, is in Seathwaite village, a metropolis comprising a pub, a church and about a dozen cottages.
The cloud-clovered peak on the left is The Pike again, as seen in the first image of this set. The one almost completely visible on the right is Whitfell, so the cloud base must have risen to at least 572 m asl... briefly. |
