Rather hazy, but a good viewpoint.
The village lining the edge of the valley floor is Hornby. The castle is visible on higher ground, with the church in front and a little to the left. The River Wenning flows directly towards the camera, joining the Lune just out of sight on this side of the valley. The bridge over the Wenning at Hornby isn't visible (behind the trees), but the cluster of buildings to the right appear in an earlier photograph taken on that bridge.
I think the village in the distance, directly above Hornby Castle, is Lower Bentham, North Yorkshire, the furthest point on this bike ride. Ingleborough Hill dominates the background.
