Immediately after emerging from the Bleamoor Tunnel, the Settle-Carlisle railway crosses another major viaduct. Constructed of local marble between 1869 and 1875, the ten arches carry the railway for 160 m, 30 m above Fell End Gill. Mouseover the image to artificially clear some of the haze. |
