The houses on the left are in the Ryelands estate, whilst the block of flats visible in the trees behind Carlisle (railway) Bridge is in Skerton. The industrial buildings on the other bank are part of the disused Lune Mills complex. The orange temporary fencing surrounds an attempt to eradicate an infestation of Japanese Knotweed.
