Garstang Town Hall, with the clock tower, was first built in 1680 but rebuilt in 1755 following a fire in 1750, and again in 1940. I think the second rebuilding restored the original appearence. The building to the left of the Town Hall, with a green lamp, is the Market Hall. The site of the outdoor market at the Market Cross can be seen in the background. |
