Sedbergh, Cumbria, UK, 27 August, 2006
Sedbergh isn't entirely centuries old. Evidently this bank (or maybe just the front wall) was built in the 1920s.
The distinctive grasshopper and Liver bird logo indicates that this was a branch of Martins Bank, a company founded in the 16th Century and acquired by Barclays in 1969. |
