Lincoln's Inn Bridge, near Sedbergh, Cumbria, UK, 27 August, 2006
Considering this bridge is barely wide enough for a modern lorry and cars have to queue to cross in one direction at a time, I'm slightly surprised that it's still in use on the main road between Sedbergh and Kendal (and the motorway). I'm glad, though, as it's certainly an attractive structure.
As one might expect, the bridge is named for a coaching inn, now a private house. |
