This view only lasted a few moments, but showed the most direct route up Ingleborough, from Ingleton, sunlit in the valley (pity the sunbeams aren't clear in this 640x480 reduction of the 2848x2136 original). I last followed that route in January 2004 – a corner of the square field in the middle of the picture is also visible here.
The sequencing of these photos might imply this was taken from the summit, but the cloud was too dense for any (publishable) photography there, and this was taken during the descent, ~80 m below the top.
