The nearer sunlit crag, Raven Tor on Brim Fell is an obvious igneous intrusion: a secondary branch of the magma shaft from the ancient volcano. Low Water, just the other side of Brim Fell, and Levers Water, visible in this valley, should be sufficient landmarks for one to identify the point from which this photo was taken by examining the reverse angle. |
