This is a far better view than I received last year, but the lens has distorted the apparent distances. Bow Fell, the snow-covered ridge, is 13.5 km away, Harrison Stickle, the most prominent of the Langdale Pikes, on the right, is 10.5 km away, and the lower ridge between Bow Fell and here is Lingmoor Fell, 7 km away beyond Elterwater.
Needless to say, Windermere is in the foreground.
