This photo is slightly deceptive: the road from Ruthin (~30 m asl) to Moel Famau's 'top' car park (~350 m asl) and on over the pass to Loggerheads is much steeper than it appears here. The orange (dead bracken) slope is Foel Fenlli, at the top of which is, yes, yet another large Iron Age hillfort. |
