Starting the fairly steep ascent (300 m in 1.2 km, 100 m of which was in the final 100 m) from Broadrake to the summit ridge, we soon reached the base of rapidly forming cloud at ~450 m asl. This was the last time we could see further than ~20 m for the next hour or so.
