Unsurprisingly, the farm is Blindhurst.
The end of the ridge, behind Blindhurst, is Parlick (432 m asl), popular with hang gliders. There's also a 'proper' gliding club landing strip out of view to the right, and a couple of gliders can just be seen taking advantage of the air currents above the edge of the fell.
