Apart from the obvious fact that it was constructed in 1893, I'm afraid I know little about this surprisingly ornate building at an anonymous rural road junction near Garstang. I presume it was the country house's gate lodge, but the drive doesn't seem to lead to an especially large or splendid building (which now houses a health farm).
I obtained better photos of the detailing on a subsequent visit.
