A picturesque location, but fairly inaccessible in winter and in a prime tourist location in summer (to be pessimistic about it!).
The steep valley behind the farm is Stickle Ghyll, descending from Stickle Tarn (see the next image).
This is looking straight up at Harrison Stickle (on the right); the angle makes the other two 'peaks' look impressive, but they're Mark Gate (left) and Pike Howe (centre), only 450m 'shoulders' well below the main Pikes.
