It takes a certain type of confidence to accelerate hard towards the back of a stationary bus, relying on it having moved off before I get there.

I think the word I'm looking for is "misplaced".

HAH! Similar to my faith in my ability to cycle as fast as a car when running a red light.
Raining. Don't want to be stuck at ANOTHER red light before I get home. It's amber... what the Hell, I can make that before the lights on the dual carriageway change on my fifteen-year-old ATB.
