Aye, that's excellent news too, though I suspect the bulldog wouldn't have been quite so scary anyway without the backing of the poodle.

I'm really surprised that none of the interviews I've seen have called politicians out on the glaring inadequacy of the 'I did what I thought was right' arguement. John Ried said it on the BBC and I thought the interviewer would press him on it but instead he let it slide. Although I am loathed to invoke both Godwin's law and a hideous americanism this early on in the proceedings, Hitler thought what he was doing was right...go figure.
