It's here

Firefox 1.0 is out.  Though millions of us have been using the 'beta' or 'pre-release' versions quite happily for many months, some have been waiting for a 'proper' release.  Well, stop waiting - download it today.

The owners/maintainers of certain non-standards-compliant websites have also used Firefox's pre-release status as a feeble excuse to avoid making their sites usable: "we don't support beta software".  No more.

Hi, found you via BlgoExplosion and like your site alot. Its got a great look and layout and the content I've read so far is well written (as you well know, a rarity in the blogosphere!).

Anyway, I wanted to pass along a link to Wired Blogs where they talk about Optimizing FireFox for Macs, thought you might find it useful or cool. I installed it last night and it seems to be between 10 and 15% faster!

Firefox is definitely worth the disk space. I've been using the "preview release" for a few weeks now, and have tweaked it with a few extensions to fit my needs. It's light, it's fast, it's fantastic; get the thing; 'nuff said.
